Thomas Ghea is an accomplished saxophonist and woodwind doubler based in Adelaide and as been all over the country playing in big bands and other ensembles at public, corporate and private events and festivals.
Previous high profile performances include appearances in James Morrison's Big Band, supporting Gordon Goodwin at the 2017 International Jazz Day Gala Concert in Adelaide and playing with Gordon Goodwin and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra as a featured instrumentalist at the 2017 Generations in Jazz Festival. Other appearances include regular performances with the Adelaide Big Band, a number of performances with the Mike Stewart Big Band as well as JazzSA and other ensembles at venues around Adelaide. His primary instruments are alto, tenor and baritone sax, but he also doubles on flute and clarinet.

Our flagship corporate entertainment band is Thomas Ghea's Motor City Seven. Formed in 2016 to play corporate events in and around the Mount Gambier area and under the direction of Thomas Ghea, the Motor City Seven is a seven-piece band fronted by two vocalists bringing you classic Motown, Disco, Funk, Soul and modern Pop hits - now available for bookings in the Adelaide and Mount Gambier areas.
The Motor City Seven's repertoire covers a range of artists, including Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, The Temptations, Sam and Dave, Tina Turner, The Jackson 5, Thelma Houston, James Brown, Whitney Houston, ABBA, Adele, Jason Mraz, Bruno Mars and more. All charts played by the band have been transcribed and arranged by Thomas Ghea, including some fresh takes on popular classics.
Being comprised of jazz musicians, the Motor City Seven is also capable of providing jazz or easy listening sets with or without vocalists as a part of their corporate event package.
