This is a great slow swinging 12 bar blues featuring a catchy melody for trumpet and trombone which will sound great in any concert setting. An open solo section with layered backing figures allows you to feature soloists at length and build with each soloist. The solos lead back into the head, ending with a tag and some extended cadenzas for the solo instruments. This is a great chart for the developing and intermediate ensemble. Solos are for fifth trumpet and lead trombone.
